Applications can be picked-up at the Town Office between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or on the Town’s website.  All applications must be returned to the above no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022.

The various boards/commissions/committees are as follows:

Committee of Adjustments/Property Standards Appeal Committee

The Committee of Adjustments is empowered to perform such duties as prescribed by the Planning Act, such as minor variance applications to the Town’s Zoning by-Law and exercises consent granting authority.  The PSAC is the appeal body with respect to orders to comply issued under the Town’s Property Standards by-law.

Library Board

The Board shall seek to provide a comprehensive and efficient public library service that reflects the community’s unique needs.

Police Services Board

The role of the Marathon Police Services Board is to oversee the provision of the police services in Marathon.  The Board is the civilian trustee of the public interest as it pertains to police services in the community. 

All appointments will be made at the November 28, 2022, Regular Meeting of Council.  The term for all appointments will be November 14, 2026.
