Highlights of the Regular Meeting of Council on Tuesday, April 11, 2023

Report on Land Lease Agreement – Port Authority

Daryl Skworchinski, CAO/Clerk, reviewed the report in its entirety. Mr. Skworchinski recommended that the appropriate by-law be adopted, approving a Land Lease Agreement between the Town of Marathon and the Peninsula Port Authority.

Report on 2023 Operating and Capital Budget

Chuck Verbo, Finance & Administration Manager/Treasurer, reviewed the report in its entirety. Mr. Verbo recommended that the appropriate by-law be adopted approving the 2023 Operating and Capital budgets.

Report on Public Works Garage – Financing Options

Chuck Verbo, Finance & Administration Manager/Treasurer, reviewed the report in its entirety.  Mr. Verbo noted that the report was being presented for information and that Administration is seeking direction on which financing option to choose.

Report on Equity & Diversity Policy (TMS0020) 

Andrea Gauthier, Corporate Services Manager, reviewed the report in its entirety. Ms. Gauthier recommended that Policy TMS0020 (Equity & Diversity) be approved as presented.
