Peninsula Golf Course
The Town of Marathon proudly owns and operates the Peninsula Golf Course, a traditional-style 9-hole course overlooking the shores of Lake Superior. Designed in 1952 by world-renowned Canadian golf course architect Stanley Thompson, CGA, it is one of 178 courses he created during his celebrated career — and notably, his final design before his passing on January 4, 1953.With a licensed clubhouse, rental equipment, and golf carts available, Peninsula Golf Course offers everything you need for an enjoyable day on the greens.
