Notice of Invitation to Bid for RFP - Marathon Wastewater Treatment Plant Mechanical and Electrical Upgrades

The intent of this project is to provide all necessary materials, labour, and equipment to complete the specified upgrades in accordance with the attached drawings and scope of work. The Town of Marathon will act as the General Contractor for this project and will manage the work internally.

Proponents are requested to obtain and/or submit separate pricing for:

• Mechanical scope of work
• Electrical scope of work
• Combined mechanical and electrical scope (where applicable)

If your company is only bidding on one discipline, please submit pricing for the applicable scope only. The drawing set and supporting documents are attached for your review.

Required project completion: November 15, 2026

Bonding: Not required

Closing Date: Friday, May 22, 2026 at 2:00 PM (EST).

Extensions: None will be granted

Award Notification: Successful bidders will be notified by Monday, May 25, 2026

TBTE will coordinate all certificates of payment. Equipment may be ordered and delivered, and progress draws may be submitted accordingly.

3. To view a detailed description of the Bid/Tender and access the downloadable Bid documents, click "Bid Details"
4. If you are not already a registered vendor, click on the "Register for this Bid" button
5. Fill in your information and submit your payment
6. When payment is complete, go back to the homepage and select the bid you registered for to download all bids documents and any addenda
7. If you wish to download additional copies, simply return to our site and log in with the same username and password that was used when you registered for the bid.
8. Instructions on how to submit your bid are included in the bid documents.

All Bidders are to note that any addendum(s) to the bid documents will be posted with the bid documents on the Town of Marathon's Bids and Tenders webpage. It is the bidder's responsibility to check this web page often for any addendum. Any bid submission received without the appropriate addendum attached and signed by the bidder may be rejected. All registered plan takers will receive an email notice as addendums are issued.
