🚧 ROAD REPAIR WORK STARTING JUNE 5 🚧

The Town of Marathon will begin Phase 2 of our three-year road repair program on June 5, 2026 (weather permitting). ☀️

This important work helps extend the life of our existing asphalt, improve road conditions, and reduce future maintenance costs across our community. 🛣️✅

📅 Expected Duration: Approximately 6 days

⚠️ What to Expect:
• No full road closures are anticipated
• Temporary detours may be required
• One-way traffic and minor delays are expected
• Daily adjustments will be made based on weather and work progress

🔨 Scope of Work
• Hot-pour rubber crack sealing (6690-MOD)
• M.A.R.S. mastic asphalt repairs
• Repairs focused on roadway cracking, deformities, and surface preservation

Phase 2 will focus on:
• Class 3 roadways
• Select sections of Class 2 roads (see attached ranking document)
• Airport Runway
