The Town of Marathon issues water bills on a quarterly basis. Payment due dates are set for the last business day of the following months:
- February
- May
- August
- November
Water Ebilling
E-billing offers a convenient, timely, and environmentally friendly way to receive your water bills. Your e-bill will mirror the paper copy, and your billing cycle will remain the same.
Sign up for Ebilling
To switch to e-billing, simply send us an email at payroll@marathon.ca. Once registered, you will no longer receive a paper copy of your bill.
Payment options
You can pay your water bill through a variety of methods:
Online or Telephone Banking

- Add "Marathon Water" as a payee. Be sure to select the correct payee (Water, not Taxes) to ensure proper processing.
In Person at Town Hall

- Visit us at Town Hall, 4 Hemlo Drive, during normal business hours. We accept cheque, cash, debit, and VISA/Mastercard.
After-Hours Drop Box

- Drop off cheques in the secure drop box at the front entrance of Town Hall.
- Include the detachable portion of your bill.
- Place your cheque in a sealed envelope labeled “Water Billing”.
- Do not place cash in the drop box.
At Your Bank

- You can pay at your bank or trust company in person at the teller or through an ATM.
- Bring the full bill with you.
- Note: You are responsible for any service charges your bank may apply.
