Marathon Girl Guides

Marathon Girl Guides is proud to offer volunteer-led youth programming for girls aged 5-18 to the youth of the Marathon and Biigtigong Nishnaabeg communities. We offer regular weekly meetings in addition to weekend activities and camp/sleepover activities from September to May/June with occasional programming over the summer months.

Girls have the opportunity to learn and grow at their own pace via the girl-driven approach as they work towards their badge programming over the 2-3 years they are enrolled in their branch. There are also additional opportunities for discovery, volunteer work, travel (Canada and international trips), and even post-secondary scholarships!
