The Town of Marathon is introducing the Affordable Tiny Homes Project which is a new neighbourhood designed to provide attainable, sustainable, and well-designed housing. Built on municipally owned land, this project will create 19 new homes that are affordable, energy efficient, and suited to the needs of our community.

The development is located on Trailer Court Road and will include a mix of one-bedroom and bachelor units. Each home will feature modern, energy efficient construction, a driveway, storage shed, and landscaping to create a welcoming streetscape.

Construction has already begun with site servicing underway. A show home will then be installed, with presales starting shortly after. All homes are expected to be complete and move-in ready by late 2026.

The Town of Marathon is investing 1.9 million dollars into the project, supported by Housing Accelerator Funds and other incentives to keep costs affordable. This project builds on the Town’s proven experience in delivering successful housing developments, including Peninsula Manor.
