Roads

The Works & Operations Department is responsible for maintaining the town's roadways by providing of a variety of road maintenance and a combination of administrative and field operations in several areas:

• Road maintenance including repairs, replacements, line painting, cold patching, crack sealing, sweeping, pothole patching, grading, gravelling, and dust control.
• Sidewalk and curb maintenance including repairs and replacements.
• Road-side ditch and culvert installation and maintenance.
• Safety activities including street signs and street light maintenance.
• Snow ploughing and snow removal on roads, sidewalks, back lanes, and municipal parking lots.
