Port Hole Pool

image Whether you're interested in affordable fitness and recreation, the Port Hole Pool has what you are looking for.  Our indoor pool has five (5) lanes, is 25 metres (82 feet) in length, with a maximum depth of 3.2 metres (10.5 feet).

A diving board, flutter boards, floatation aids and toys for the kids all help to make this a great family experience.  Children between the ages of six (6) and ten (10) may swim unaccompanied by an adult or older sibling provided they have passed the Port Hole Pool admission swim test - our friendly and professional lifeguards will be happy to assess your child.  Lessons run throughout the year from the very youngest toddlers to adult swim lessons including life saving courses.

Relax in our therapeutic hot pool or sauna or join us for a challenging game of underwater hockey or water polo.  The Port Hole Pool is the home of the Silver Pikes, a swim club sanctioned by Swimming Canada.

A portable aquatic lift is available for anyone who may need assistance to access the pool. The lift has a capacity of 136 kilograms (300 pounds) and can be moved around on deck to allow access at more than one location. The seat is deep enough to provide stability and has no edge which allows for smoother transfers.

Change rooms are equipped with showers, lockers (locks available for rent) and hair dryers.  Bathing caps, goggles and other accessories are available for sale at the cashier's desk.

Join us for one of our many programs or rent the pool and viewing room for your own family or workplace gathering.  See you at the Port Hole Pool!
