Mink Creek Falls
A favourite hide-away for residents and a few lucky travellers, this wild and scenic falls is surprisingly accessible giving you the opportunity to see and touch its fresh, cool running waters.
A short eighteen kilometers west of Marathon, Mink Creek has no signage to indicate its presence, just minutes off of Highway 17, near Coldwell.
Pull over in the small parking area on the north side of the highway and cross the hightway where a small trail on the south side leads down to the falls.
This private spot is perfect for a picnic, a place to drop a fishing line, paint or sketch or simply enjoy the smooth warm rock bed as you take in the view.
