Special Events Worker/Rink Attendant

Special Events Workers are responsible for monitoring the terms and conditions of facility rental agreements - particularly with respect to the Municipal Alcohol Policy - and provides general assistance to individuals or groups hosting special events. Rink Attendants are responsible for providing a safe, enjoyable arena environment, promoting safety and providing first aid when required.

Qualifications

  • At least 14 years of age in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act
  • Current first aid certificate
  • Smartserve training preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the public
  • Skating abilities
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends
  • Valid Class "G" driver's licence would be an asset 
Hours of Work:

Dependent on programming schedule

Rate of Pay: $9.50 per hour
