Lifeguard

Lifeguards are responsible for a safe and enjoyable environment at the pool, assisting the Head Guard/Senior Guard, performing rescues and/or first aid as required, and implementing all health regulations. More information on becoming a Lifeguard.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age
• Current first aid and/or CPR certificate
• Current Bronze Cross certification
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess some knowledge of health regulations
• Willing to work evenings and weekends

Aquafitness Instructor

Aquafitness Instructors provide safe and enjoyable instruction to program participants at the Port Hole Pool.

Qualifications

• Current first aid certificate
• Completion of CALA Introduction to Aquafitness course an asset
• Ability to effectively communicate with public and teach adults
• Willing to work evenings and weekends
• At least 16 years of age
